Wednesday, August 13.. Depart Indianapolis on Delta Airlines
Thursday, August 14.. Arrive in London and transfer to the Waldorf Hilton Hotel. www.hilton.com/London-Waldorf
This hotel is conveniently located near Covent Garden, the British Museum and many of the London Theatres. Breakfast is included each day and while in London, we will have orchestra seats for two West End Musicals.
Andrew and Carolyn will lead a tour of London and you will have lots of time to enjoy the sights.
Sunday, August 17th, we will depart from London by train to Edinburgh and check in at the Radisson Blu Hotel for three nights. www.radissonblu.co.uk/Edinburgh
While in Edinburgh we will have guided tour of the Castle, tickets for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and free time to explore the city.
Wednesday, August 20th. we will travel from Edinburgh by bus and ferry to Belfast, Northern Ireland for one night. Hotel TBD
We will have the evening and next morning to explore Belfast. On Thursday afternoon, we will travel down the Antrim coast by bus and stop at a number of important sightseeing locations
before we arrive in Dublin for two nights at the Dublin Westin Hotel www.westin.com/Dublin.
Saturday, August 23 .. our flight home.
Cost: The cost for this 10 day. 9 night trip is $3650 per person (double occupancy) and includes round trip airfare from Indianapolis to London and returning from Dublin. Nine hotel nights in 4 and 5 star hotels, daily breakfast, theatre tickets to two shows in London, tickets to a castle tour and the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh and all ground transportation between cities.
Cancellation: Once you have made a payment, If you must cancel before 120 days prior to the trip, you will be entitled to a full refund. Between 120 days and 30 days prior to the trip, you will be entitled to a refund of the total trip cost less the cost of the airline ticket and any non refundable deposits paid to hotels and other vendors. If you cancel less than 30 days prior, there will be no refund. If you cancel after 120 days prior and the airfare has been paid, you may be entitled to an airline credit less the change fee assessed by the airline. Usually you have one year to use the value of the ticket minus the change fee set by the airline, currently at $300.00. Cancellations after 120 days will incur a $100 administrative fee.
Trip Insurance: Trip insurance may be purchased to protect the cost of the trip in case of a last minute emergency. To cover pre-existing conditions, trip insurance must be purchased within 14 days of the initial deposit. Once you have placed a deposit for this trip, I will provide you with a brochure that you may choose to use.
Baggage: Most airlines allow for one free checked bag on international flights. You will be charged for a second checked bag. Please check the website for specific prices. You will be allowed a small carryon and one personal bag. Please be sure you meet the specifications for the carry on bag so you are not surprised with a charge at check in.
Selection of Vendors: Travel to Remember, LLC will use the following guidelines for the selection of international and domestic land and air suppliers. All suppliers will be chosen from those recommended by other known and trusted vendors in our industry. We will look for suppliers that have a proven track record for safety and a reputation for being the most experienced local receptive operators. Suppliers will be expected to comply with all local insurance and licensing regulations. One of the tour managers from Travel to Remember will accompany all excursions to make sure that the suppliers provides the best in service and customer response.
Responsibility: “Tour Operator” acts only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provide hotel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, activities, or other services connected with this tour. Such services are subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers. Tour Operator and their respective employees, agents, representatives, and assigns accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or any other incident which may be caused by the negligence, defect, default of any company or person in performing the services. Responsibility is not accepted for losses, injury, damages or expenses of any kind due to sickness, weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature, local laws or other such causes. All services and accommodations are subject to the laws and regulations of the country in which they are provided. Tour Operator is not responsible for any baggage or personal effects of any individual participating in the tours/trips arranged by Tour Operator. Individual travelers are responsible for purchasing a travel insurance policy, if desired, that will cover some of the expenses associated with the loss of luggage or personal effects.
